Ok, so Christmas came and went away. And Iīve been feeling a bit blue about it. I donīt think Iīve felt like this since I was a kid..
anyways..
Itīs been really dreamlike weather here for a past week or so. A bit too cold for my taste but absolutely beautiful..

So, I got fantastic news from the doctors tuesday: the illness is gone! Theyīve managed to kill the cancer. Ofcourse thereīs a chance of a renewal, but letīs not worry about that today.. Iīm healthy again!

Ok, so the chemotherapy is finally over and I´m feeling quite good.. I still have to wait three weeks to get the results, though.. Agonizing! :)
Doctors have been very positive with the progress I´ve had during the treatment so my hopes are high.. Even if the results should be perfect they´re going to give me sick leave until end of the year, so I can´t get back to "normal" life for a few months..
Anyways..

Ok.. So the chemo is working fine and I´m out of strength.. I tried to make a first shooting trip today with a bicycle after all this nonsense started; Oh man was I tired! First of all the bike was my wifes´ so all the adjusments were wrong, second of all I´ve gained 20 kg´s weight so sitting on a bike seat was not a treat :)

Anyways, these guys were having some fall storm fun wind surfing..

Well.. I got discharged from the hospital last friday and I´ve got to say; for the first time I realize it´s not Alcaselzer they´re giving you in chemo.. I´ve been really tired and having some nausea since..
But I´m not complaining, the therapy is working. The tumor has shrinked noticebly and the doctors said they could hardly see it anymore..

I have still two therapy sessions to go so I got to rest good.

Well..
This is how I feel could be the only way to keep our wild thing to stay still for enough time for us to unpack groceries..
Now, by the time groceries are unpacked our stowe and washing machine are on.. :)

This is our little kid, Ilmari who´s started walking on his own about a month ago. So of course, first things first; a proper football kit and off we go..
His godfathers and dad are going to make him a football star by buying him all kinds of football stuff.
So, watch out Steven Gerrard! :)

Well.. I´ve ruined my weekly photoblog, but under the circumstances I´ll forgive myself.. I´ll be posting new photos here when I get something worth publishing. It propably won´t be weekly but I´ll do my best..

Here´s something I got last week; it was a guy who had a puppet show in a market. He noticed me with my camera and started "posing".. Scary, I´d say.. :)

So.. This one is from when I was sent home from the hospital to wait for the surgery.. It was a beautiful summer day and I bought a first ice cream of the summer on this trip.. :)

I´ve been a bit poorly lately. I´ve been having terrible head aches and they found a tumor in my brain.. I was in surgery last tuesday but they only took the biopsy they couldn´t remove it.. This "photo" is when I was in hospital..

Well well.. I almost failed my project.. This one is almost two weeks late.. I just don´t have the time; it´s deadly hectic at work and when ever I get the free time I spend it with our little boy..

I was driving to work one day and I saw these two ladies strolling down the street.. I don´t know if they´re on a lunch break or just on a walkabout.. I just loved how both of them were concentrated on their snack..

As soon as the snow had melted form the sand on the beach.. It turned into a football field.. :)

Well.. I´ve still had fever and so my photographic opportunities have been, well.. I haven´t had them that much.. :)

The weather has not been that spring-like in the last few weeks as you can see :) Altough the last two days it has been beautiful. hopefully the spring starts now..

Ok.
I finally got around to it and bought a new lens. I´ve been looking for a good quality tele zoom lens for a reasonable price.. I looked for a bargains and searched the net for reviews for six months and finally ended up in Sigma 70-200 2.8 APO Macro lens for 699 EUR.
I´ve played around with it a bit and so far it really delivers..
So..
